Really cool British minibikes from World War II

I stumbled across this on youtube and thought it was really cool. They are known as the Welbike made by Excelsior Motor Company. They dropped these things out of airplanes with some of the airborne divisions! So damn cool if you ask me...

I think both videos have been posted on here before. It was arguably the first "mini bike" ever mass-produced.

It's all good, there are new people here who may be interested....probably not, since vintage mini bikes are now considered 1990 Doodlebugs.

The only reason I knew about that Corgi was through a sailing buddy from Great Brittan who sent me a link- he knew I was in to the minis. I'd like to find an original one still inside the parachute crate!
