Regrind cams

I bought a 5hp flathead Briggs with a tillotson and 3 stage header. Upon inspection I found out that the cam has been reground. How do I tell what lift it is besides using a micrometer. Has 55 stamped into it as most do. Here is a pic which isn't the best. The cam on the left is a 4hp cam and one on the right is my 5hp regrind. The exhaust lobe has definitely been reground. Any info would be appreciated.

Take a veneer caliper and measure the width and height of a lobe write the numbers down then subtract the width from the height and that's the lift of the cam.
