Rupp Chevy jr A.K.A. I love a challenge!!

I Just picked this up, and am excited to get to work on it. Looks like it found a telephone pole at one time, but hey, its only fiberglass work! Can anyone share with me the history of these, as I only know the basics. They were first painted red and were promotional give aways then Rupp manufactured them to sell. At which point they were pained orange with a white stripe. Later they were painted

blue and manufactured til about 1975. I would love to know more info, if someone knows the story please let me know. Thanks

I don't usually get too excited by karts w/full bodies, but that one is very cool. I love it!
