Can anyone help me understanding what the Rupp Roadster Seat Pan ID Tag Numbers mean? An example would be:

1 600606

The first digit denotes year of manufacture "1971". The rest of the numbers are a generally a type of running production total of all units built.
The 600000 series seems to be late 1971.
