Rupp Roadster with an H25?!?

I got a little worried when i saw the plate on the sidecover and it says:

The pull start is all blue so I don't know if it is the HS40 with just an H25 pull start replacement. I measured the bore with a tape measure and it was a little over 2.625"

It has the lighting coil and everything looks right if it were the correct hs40... what do you think?

Well, I doesn't take a genius to swap a motor.....

If your lucky, Someone swapped housings only.

I think you need to check the Bore & Stroke.

Thats not a 25, the 25 has the exhaust out the side. It seems to be a HS40

I did check the bore and it seemed ok but I don't know the bore and stroke of a 2.5 motor if its close to the hs40

Yes, carb left exhaust right. It's a HS40
