JHC !!! I was pricing a few parts for a 5hp B&S. Mine has a crinkled screen on the flywheel/pull start. Cheapest one I found was $42.00 !:scared: For a damn 5 or 6" circle of screen. What am I missing here? Are they made of something special?:shrug: Splain please.

where are you looking? ive seen them on ebay ALOT cheaper than that. i would atempt to make 1 before spending that much for the screen.

I've not seen any on e-bay, but yes, if all it is for is to keep objects from getting in or parts getting out Ill make my own.

There are several on Ebay right now starting bid 99 cents. Type in briggs screen under parts& accessories under home & garden. if you can't locate let me know I'll get you some item numbers.
