Do you have the 4 cylinder? I know lots of people that have high miles on that engine and was told it was an off shoot from the Pinto engine.

There's another comet from Montreal,Quebec,Canada that had over 1,000,000 miles and it was a cab,unfortunatly ,the car is no more due to an accident that happend not long after the news story ran.You should be able to google it.Its black and the cab driver is the original owner.

On a side note, assuming that comet averaged 16mpg over all those miles, 31,250 gallons of fuel have been through that smallblock. Using the same mileage, the van has gone through 71,250gal. :blink:
