It's a long shot, I know, but I am in need of a brake pedal for a Simplex Compact Sportsman. Mine is a 1963, if that matters.

If you go Los Angeles craigslist there is a modified Simplex compact for sale. The brake pedal is disconnected and just laying on the frame. Maybe he'll sell it. Doesn't look like he can use it anymore. You can see it in the pics. The ad title is vintage mini bikes. Hope you can get it! Love to see a pic of your project if you have one!
