Spring tensioner for Monster Moto

Anyone know of a good spring tensioner or maybe a skateboard wheel for a Monster Moto 105? I have my tensioner maxed out and my engine cant go up any further.

Remove a couple of links from your chain and readjust.

Ya already tried that but it ends up being to tight or to much slack on the chain. I even tried drilling new holes to max out the tensioner and its still got some slack on it. Idk.

Get a half link for your chain. Install it next to your master link. I would not modify the bike to make the chain fit. Buy a new chain or get a half link.

You will not believe how easy it is to cut chain with a CHAIN BREAKER.
You might not use it often but trust me, you will not lose it either.
They don't cost much.

Ya I used one and got a few half links I got one installed now but still to loose but not by much Ill take a pic of how much slack I got later and thanks for the replies

You might want to price a new piece of quality chain.

A higher pitched chain would be better?

no. same pitch, or size. Get quality chain. Cheap chain is always a headache. Good chain should be trouble free all summer.

That’s the biggest problem with the Monster Moto MM80 Predator conversion. The frame design doesn’t leave much, if any, room to move the engine to alter the chain tension. You can get the aftermarket angle plate, but then lose your stock fuel tank. That said, using a larger diameter skate board wheel might take that little bit of extra slack out to get you in the neighborhood.

Ah, I’d expect those to have reasonable adjustability as standard. That said, every one of those I’ve ever messed with, first thing to do is remove the stock engine and sell it for $20, lol…

you can also slot the adjuster hole up and down to give you more adjustment, thats what i did on one of my mm80/212 swapped bikes.
