Street legal double frame?

Found a double frame in my dad's barn and wondered when they used this frame? I have a street legal and it's a single frame

A lot of people will tell you they used them on the phase111's. But I've seen several of them, none that we're racers. I think they were later off-road frames.

I never sold any of the Phase III machines. But I did sell one Tri Sport RTS that came with a double frame and a Kohler 440 engine. I bought that RTS and his wife's RTS SL back in 2002.
I put a new Kohler engine a Kohler 440 in the Blue Viagra Trike. I sold all the Trikes to the same man in southern Illinois.

The red trike was Jack Harkey he was a good friend who raced like his butt was on fire.

Thanks for the info! It does have a SL vin number stamped on the neck too
