Tav2 rpm and gearing questions

#1
I have a firehawk with 19 in tires a 10 tooth clutch and a 72 tooth rear sprocket. The top speed it 43 mph and it revs about 5500 rpms. If I were to get a tav2 would it be able to allow the motor to rev up to 5500 rpms with a 7.2:1 ratio? Or would it rev up about half way at 4000 ish rpms? Never seen a clear answer for this . What is the top speed on your Baja minibike with a tav2, and what is your gear ratio and tire size? Thanks for the replies

TAV will let the motor run to its max, but if the ratio is wrong....

TAV's require experimentation to find where it maxes out. be it spring changes, ratio....

Do you know a ballpark figure for a full revving tav2 setup that still goes fat. I have seen Baja warriors on youtube with ungoverned clones get 44 mph with a tav2 19 in tires and a 5 :1 ratio. Using a mini bike speed calculator I figured its only revving 3900 rpms . So with a 72 tooth sprocket I would get about the same mph at 5500 rpms 43mph + 10% overdrive which is about 48 mph. Is this true in the real world because the motor is revving higher?
