tecumseh ignition differences?

Are these interchangeable?

to me dimensinally they look exact, just the casting of the ears is a little different, but the adjustment holes appear to be in the same spots. ANyone know:shrug:

Compare them up inside the same flywheel for clearances. I know a hs40 lighted coil with fit in H60 with a lighted flywheel. I'm running one in my Trailhorse.

Its seems to fit, I have spark, although it seems a bit weak. But that could be something else going on as its all used parts. I'll give it a shot and see what happens gotta ge ta few more thisng done before I can fire this one up.

Stator compatablility

The lower one is for a toro type tecumseh it was redesigned for some reason unknown to me all I could see was it has a better more sturdy mounting bracket but I've never seen the old original style break in two anyway...

It's just shaped different than the standard tecumseh stator bracket and the magnetic field lammiate is shaped a little different also. Both will interchange on any tecumseh - bolt on and go...
