Hello all, Thought I'd show my progress for today. Probably the hardest thing to this point getting the head tube square and straight, but I got it I believe. No welding yet, I will wait till everything is just right. One question while were at it... I see some front forks with the fork end being squeezed flat/pounded flat to accept the axle holes for the wheel. Is this as simple as crushing in a vice? Is there a better way of doing this if one does not have the correct machinery? I think welding bushings 90 degrees at the end of the fork tubes is what I'll end up doing, but would like to know how the tubing is flattened. Thanks for all the help, Gene
