This was just too easy to not be worth it. This was just the TC2 kit from gokartusa. We were flying around, climbing hills we couldn't make it up before. Lots of fun for sure.
I am guessing that we picked up almost 10 mph in top end speed and the climbing ability is 10 times greater than it was with the clutch. I am leaving the throttle and engine governed because I have no need for more speed with a 7 and 4 year old.
I have a large wheeled trail bike with a similar set up. That thing eats hills and sand for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So much better than with the plain clutch. Makes me want to put a torque converter on everything.
