Here we go again.. I bought this Gem in November, it has been outside for decades, not years of course it was stripped of anything good.. I have searched out parts all over the web.. I have everything but the side screens to build this guy, so I will start with the side screens today...
I seen this bike in person at a local flea market last summer.. He ain’t kidding when he says it’s been outside for decades.. it was rough to put it nice.. this should be an awesome build!
Here is the engine I plan on using, this guy was planb from last years build... Nice runner I just pulled it apart and checked it over, and rebuilt the Carb. changed out the air cleaner for a 7 hp model and done!
That is a nice motor what does the output shaft look like. The climb away clutch needs to be tight to the motor. If it has a collar you either have to pull the crank and machine it down or cut the motor plate and move the motor over.

Interesting…I remember having a problem with the collar on the crankshaft not allowing the climb away to fit. Another cool project you have going there Eric!
