hi everyone - I love this forum and was just given my Grandpa’s Model 600 Tote Gote - 6hp B&S motor. My grandpa was president of some drag strip back in the day and said his buddies at Motorcity Dragway (1960s/70s Detroit) “blew up” the motor and rebuilt it. Not sure if any of that tall tale was true, my grandpa loved to tell stories.
hasn’t ran since the late 80s according to my Uncles but they didn’t give a reason why.
anyone know of repair or owners manual for sale? Or any tote gote specialists in the Michigan area?
Trying to do simple troubleshoot before I just call a small engine shop to get it running.
