Tote Gote Nova needs a new motor

I have a 780 Nova that needs the a motor replaced. The old 7hp briggs on it now needs to be replaced and I have been unable to find anything that will work. I am finding lots of Tecumseh engines though. Does anyone know if I can put a 7-8 hp Tecumseh in a 780 Nova?

This is a 671 Tote Gote Nova with a 8hp Tecumseh. You should have no problem fitting the motor in. Make sure your clutch fits the motor shaft. Kerry won an award for this Tote Gote.

That is the original 6hp Tecumseh on that 671
Notice the fuel pump on the right side. None of the bigger Tecumseh's had pumps.
