Tule Trooper

Got this bike a few years ago. Digging around on internet found it to be a Tule Trooper- little seat with box behind- and have it apart now and am currently doing paint. Whats the story on these machines- info appreciated.

Troopers

Greetings!
There are several of us that have Troopers, but we are kinda' keeping them a secret! We look forward to seeing some pictures and will gladly weigh in with our two cents.

I am in the midst or rebuilding My tule trooper... My Grandfather was partners with Jim Edwins back in Issaquah washington. My aunts are in the broschure, they are the twins riding troopers on the beach in the ad. I need to figure out a new motor. mine is beyond repair...It is currently stripped down... have had it for many years but have yet to rubuild it... My Grandfather is 91 now and I really need to get it back up and running asap... I actually found a brand new 2 speed transmission in one of the barns on his farm..I will post pictures really soon... any ideas on where to find a new motor? I plan to refinish it so it looks like it is coming off the showroom floor...Tony

There's a super clean one here that sometimes pops up at the January swapmeet for sale. Always wanted it, but never "pulled the trigger"

Didn't see it this last January. Maybe he gave up on selling it. If Iremember right he wanted $400

Tony: Glad to hear from you on here. It looks like you could be a person to carry on the legacy; you being a relation to one of the owners. This is a cool story, I hope you get the project done. What model Tule do you have and what size motor does it have? . I actually own a few of the Tules myself...... Greg

tule 5hp

Im located in central PA area I have a tule trooper motor 5hp with tank in running original gold condition needs a coil to be perfect. 500.00 takes it. I also have a tule trooper in running working condition. It is also in good original condition. Not sure if I really want to sell it though. It is the one with the larger rear cargo area and original seat the decals are in really good condition still. :scooter:

I know I'm really late but do you still have that and are you willing to part with it now? I'm having a hard time finding one for sale and I have somebody who is very interested in buying one.
