I spent many a day down in the boiler room of USS Tarawa(LHA-1) and USS Belleau Wood(LHA-3) shuttling Marines from San Diego around the world from 1986-1998.


Just remember you still work for the Department of the Navy.

MMC(SW) retired signing off. E-7 for all you non-coms.

BTW, what the F with all the condoms in the sewage system? Since those ships were all male, how does the sewage system in the ship get plugged up with condoms only when the Marines are on board? At least they were safe.....
