Vintage Tillson carb what is this ???

ok i bought a either a speedway or a fox??? and it came with a 3.5 tecumseh but the carb says tillson and it looks like a aftermarket or racing carb??? I am unfamilliar with these and was wondering if anyone knew what it might be from, and also what kind of bike is this???

Tillson makes primarily pumper carbs for 2 stroke engines but they can be used for four strokes if you get a pulse from the intake stroke and they do not have a bowl or a float just a diaphragm . The carb shown is not a pumper carb it must be a real old product of tilson

It's possible it is a tillotson carb, but just an old one.
I have seen some old tilly's and they come in all shapes and sizes.

I agree. My dad's old chain saw from the 50's has a tillotson bowl carb on it.

The Continentals 4 stroke 2.5 and 3.0 used Tilly carbs MT 25 A and then a MT 35 A . Some clintons used them and So did Jacobsen to name only a few You should see on the front of the bowl a MT number from 2 A 3 A all the way up . Kevin

Do the tires say "Speedway" on them? The Speedway I just got looks very similiar but mine doesn't have a swingarm like yours.
