I'm glad you chimed in since it looks like you are an expert on Ruttman minibikes. I didn't realize there was more than one frame size for the Spyder. I also didn't know about the wheels.

Basically, I'm looking for one of these;

What are my options?

Wow I missed that one.

It's funny how these are all located in Michigan. I moved here from Toledo last year but still get up there occasioanlly. If I find one I like, I can buy it and have one of my Toledo buddies come pick it up.

I see there are a few on the Detroit-Toledo Craigslist now.

I need an "old skool" mini to compliment my rice burners and really like the Ruttmans.

Well they were made in Michigan...and we tend to be hoarders around here. So that is why most are still in Michigan.:laugh:

I used to travel a lot for work and used to fly out of Detroit airport frequently when I lived in Toledo. It's about a 50-60 minute drive going up 75.

I'm a big beef jerky lover and every time I would drive up to Detroit I would have to stop at "Beef Jerky Unlimited" in Luna Pier, MI.

Come to think of it, I would stop every time on the way back too!!

Hands-down the best freakin' beef jerky I've ever had!

Some say it's the best in the world.

They have at least 50 different types at all time plus the "exotic" meats in reserve. All the jerky is in big barrels and you just go from barrel to barrel and load up with anything you want. It all costs the same. They weigh the bag(s) when you go to the cash register and charge by the lb.

It ain't cheap but boy is it to die for!!

They have stores in Dundee and Woodhaven too.

Man could I go for some now!
