Wanting to repurpose something for a fuel tank. ideas?

Like the title says I'm wanting to repurpose something for a fuel tank. like maybe an old fire extinguisher or mason jar. maybe not a mason jar but you get the picture. :doah: anyone done this or have ideas? pictures?

I found a couple old aluminum air tanks on ebay years ago...they make nice tanks too

use your creativity...and makes friends with good welders!

those are sick. is the weight in the back an issue? any difference at all with it in the back versus in the front/middle?

I am 250lbs...don't think it matters!

You can always buy some 3" aluminum tube and have fence post caps welded on the ends...makes nice looking dual tanks! Welder did not follow instruction well on the filler and made it a bit too high

think it....do it!

Use a pair of 5 inch diameter hydraulic oil filters from a truck stop.
Solder them together.

5 years on the tank is fine.
