west bend 580 power bee mini bike go cart motor

#1
unknown if runs,has great compression,showing 90lbs.
what you see is what you get, engines are complete minus exhausts.
these were all surplus from a heavy equipment operator who bought them from Stone company.
they were in a tractor trailer, gathering dust for many years.
they dont look like they were even used, but they are being sold As-Is.

they are all labeled as 58037 motors, and spin over and have spark.
shaft size appears to be a 1/2 inch by 3 inches long, with a retainer nut.
plenty of room for a clutch.
$200 plus shipping.
ask any questions here or in Pm.
this sale is for one 580 motor,as shown.

Hey LS, that is a nice motor for the money! I can't afford one right now, otherwise I'd buy for the next build...whatever that may be! Good luck with sale!

Looks like the shaft may actually 9/16. Did you put a wrench on it? I use a wrench to measure all the time...easy and kind of accurate! Are the threads on the end of the shaft conventional RH (right hand) threads?

was taking stuff out of storage and realized i still had these.
still up for grabs cash or Trades.
theres 4 of these left,2 with carbs 2 without.
theres also a robin engine 4hp that might be reusable for parts but has a cast body that would have to be machined to be useable on a bike or kart.

im still looking for 1 or 2 boonie bike rollers to build.
dont need motors nor good forks.

pm or reply here :)
please include pics if you have a trade.

i inadvertently left a clutch on that motor btw it Doesnt go to it,was just checkin sizes so keep that in mind.
when i went to mail yours was a lb heavier than the other box and i figured wth its packed and taped leave it in there, lol.
i think? it came off a robin 4 hp.
cheers :) and im going now to leave feedback.

still got 2 motors left both need carbs one also needs the carb intake plate as well.

Yeah, the clutch was just the internals. No drum. It was a little loose on the shaft too.

I'm happy either way. Packing job was perfect. Thanks again
