Growing up during the 60’s and 70's I did not realize the influence that country music, bluegrass, and the blues, had on our popular music. It's not until looking back that I realized it.

The album that Far Away eye's was on is the only stones album I ever bought. It was a new release special at the record bar on 8 track tape for 5 something $ !

I do however somewhere have one of my favorite 45 records A side with Honky tonk woman, and the B side with favorite stones song of all time...that still holds true today ..You can't always get what you want !
