since Im bored at work right now I'll answer :sleeping: night security :sleeping: most the year. then I take time off to fish salmon comercially and geoduck dive that's where I make most my money. I have to trust my life to a honda 9hp to provide my oxygen

Mike Rowe on Dirty Jobs did a clip about Geoducks,and brought up some good points.

They're pronounced "GOOEYDUCKS",but spelt GEODUCKS.They're actually clams,but have DUCK in their name,and they are apperantly good eating when prepared right.

I have to wonder how the namer came up with the name of these things.:lol:

yeah they don't look that great but as long as the Japanese keep buying them I'll keep going down 50ft to get them. I personally don't like them but I'm no gourmet cook either, but for them it's a Delicacy . as for the name it's a nisqually word that got poorly translated.
