I'm new to mini bikes. My brakes are squealing pretty bad. I need to get new brakes. Dont know what these brakes are called. I want to get hydraulic brakes but they look different than these. What's the info you all can give me?

Drum brakes, what is your bike? Post a full picture and someone might be able to direct you to where to buy replacement parts.

That is a cable-actuated mechanical drum brake. That is a 2nd gen Baja Doodle Bug, most of which had a cable-actuated mechanical disc brake but some had a drum. To convert to a hydraulic disc brake, you will need a different wheel, a brake rotor, a hydraulic caliper, a master cylinder, a brake hose, hardware, and you will need to weld on a caliper mount. A Mega Moto MM-B80/105 or Coleman CT100U wheel and rotor should work. I would guesstimate around $150 in parts. Check GPS for parts.

Here's a pic of a disc brake 2nd gen DB.

Well I stand corrected, never seen a DB30 with a drum brake. Learn something new every day.

I bought it off somebody. If i dont want the hydraulic brakes. Where do i get these drum brakes from?
I don't know what size they are but after you know you should be able to find replacements. Measure the inside of your drum. Being Chinese it will be a metric size. I don't think Hent.com has metrics but that is where I would start, if not try Amazon or ebay

Have you pulled the wheel off and inspected the shoes and drum? You can clean up both shoes and drum with scotchbrite or some sandpaper. Then put it back together and try it. I fixed a squeak on my drum brake at one point doing this.

It's just an annoying sound. It didn't affect braking in my case.
