What's the best gearing setup

What do you guys think the best gearing setup is the motor is a gx200 clone (the good clone square gastank) and it has a pipe,airfilter,18lb springs and some carb work what gearing setup would be best for me in the 1/8th, the bike is a ruttman spyder, the current setup is 62/12, I'm looking to get off the line quick and have a nice top speed the bike goes 55 already with a 130lb rider, but I weigh 235, thanks

Try jenny craig.

If you're running a Hilliard or max torque they weren't made for what you're asking. You need to step up to the expensive racing clutches.

You will need a.new clutch Because........ you will smoke.your clutch in the first hour of use doesnt matter if you just bought the clutch, will start smoking ...burning up the clutch

Buy a racing clutch for 300$ or just build up your engine then worry about a clutch cause its gunna cost a good amount for a Bully clutch,:thumbsup:

Yup, will give you a good launch and should be able to get 50mph too

12-40 is not an ideal gearing...... He does not have a racing clutch = smoked clutch..

There's a reason I have a 40t sprocket hanging on the wall......:lol:
