Which header would be best?

#1
Hi Fellas! I found this place by Googling "Galaxie Chopper". Anyhoo, I attempting to install one of the 99cc Horrible Freight engines into a Power Dyne frame. The biggest problem I'm encountering thus far is that the stock muffler is not going to work for reasons which should be fairly obvious by the pics. I'm trying to determine if there is a header/muffler for the Honda/Clone engines that would work for my application. Most seem to point the pipe in the wrong direction.

Ideally, I would like to find something that would point the exhaust straight down on the ground.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Umm...I have a 6.5 on a Powerdyne Rail with a TAV and header and there was nothing done to harm the frame.
Don't suppose I could trouble you for a pic?

Because I measured 'em both and the smaller one appeared to be a much "easier" fitment for this particular application. Believe me, I woulda bought the bigger one if the height wasn't a concern.

TIA,
Don

1/2 to 3/4 spacer plate under the motor...header pipe from BMI karting with a little heat to slightly bend in one spot. I will try and dig the bike out and get a pic...but it is burried in the pile so please be patient.

And hack the Hell outta the frame to make that tall SOB fit.

No thank you!!!
A 196cc isn't tall by any means. You act like we are asking you to put a flathead in it. Use a remote fuel tank and height comes down considerably. If you are hell bent on using that 2.5hp, put a jackshaft on it like the promod one.
