Who is Steve Ramsey?

I hate to sound like an absolute Newbie, but he must be a Rupp collector of some sort. Is that correct?

Guess no one knows him. Looks like about (8) '68 and '69 Rupps of his just sold at an auction last week. Looked to be all survivors. Mostly TT500's and Roadsters. Nice bikes. I wonder what they sold for and who got them?

Interesting. Now it says that the gold TT500 sold for $1200. Wish I had seen this a couple days sooner! Gotta check out the other bikes.

I had my eye on those items for sale and looked into bidding however all the minibikes were selling for more than i would have paid. I don't necessarily believe Steve Ramsey owned all of those auction lots, from what i understand that was just the name for the Americana and memorabilia portion of the auction.

Just like how all the cars were auctioned under a certain collection however were not all owned by one individual person.

That would make sense. I think he sold them together and I think it was the wrong idea. I think he could have gotten more by offering one at a time. Although that is small potatoes compared to what kind of $$$ went for the cars.
