An under-the-seat jackshaft?

Which jackshaft do you need? The two speed or the single speed? I have a 2-speed available. If you need a single-speed, buy a blank 12" jackshaft and a couple of sprockets on OldMiniBikes and make your own.

I have a tank too, but it's got a big dent on the end directly below the taillight

I bought this bike as a basket case. There is a jackshaft with 2 very small sprockets thrown in the box. Do you know what teeth count is on the stock? I guess I could start a new thread.
Thanks

It depends on which model Gilson you have. Is it a Wards labeled bike, or a Gilson labeled bike?

If it's a Ward's bike, just give me the original color and I'll tell you exactly which model you had and go from there. If it's a Gilson/Allis Chalmers, then it's a little trickier
