Up for sale is my recently built Zebra 500 minibike.. the goal was to finish it
for funday 3 and I barely made it.. this bike has maybe 20 to 30 minutes of ride
time on it.. here is a list of new parts..
New
-handle bars
-grips
-kill switchi
-throttle cable and housing
-rear slick tire
-tubes in both wheels
-bearings in wheels and jackshaft
-jackshaft
-chain
-taco foot peg and brake rubbers
-NOS tecumseh 3ZP engine(zebra power not to be confused with horse power). Engine was in its original box before I took it apart for paint..
-tecumseh minibike/gokart throttle linkage assembly
-tank was NOS before installed on this motor.. metal is perfect, paint has shelf wear( didn't paint it because I like the look of it in contrast with the original clutch cover.
-custom bracket for gas tank
-On/off petcock with filter
-metallic brown paint
Might have forgot a few things...
The rims are original astros that are better built then the new ones being made today.. rear rim has the rim half with the six studs to mount the sprocket.. the sprocket center was machined out so you can see more of the rim..forks were taken apart and the tubeing that slides into the top forks were replaced, front suspension actually works now.. the seat sits low and is actually comfortable (believe it or not)and in brand new condition.. the zebra clutch cover is original(found it on a Taco 22 that I bought a while back). The owner of the 22 didn't mount it right so the clutch cover was rubbing against the clutch and almost cut through:facepalm: either way its still an original zebra clutch cover:thumbsup: a lot of $,blood, sweat and beers:drinkup: went into this one but I'm already starting new projects so I gotta make room...
I'm asking $750 with original clutch cover..
Or $650 with fiberglass clutch cover..
