Really groovy in a far out sort of way!

It stayed on CL for awhile so I decided if nobody else wanted it I would give it a home. The engine is a 4hp and I believe it's original, dated 1971

Any way to take off/apart the front forks on a 1960s Montgomery wards 424 to replace the springs ... Without cutting the welds. Novice restorer here lol. Thanks for all your help. Pete
