Hey guys,
After a brief hiatus I want to return back into the mini bike scene with about a $400 budget. Thinking about a harbor freight 6.5hp engine rejet, filter, header or an 13hp with electric start reject, filter, header... also I've had the classic style doodlebug and the new style...
Can a clutch be flipped around to line up with a sprocket? Or are they directional? Its on an hs30 tecumseh and its going on a cat 350ss as a temporary replacment. Do I have to buy a clutch with the sprocket on the inside?
Anybody on here who can do all the machine work for this? Or can somebody point me in the right direction for it? I'm looking to get a resleeved block and milled piston.
Picked up a Murray track 2 off Craigslist for $100 and it runs but has a busted throttle cable and kill switch. I cannot find parts for this thing. I'm in need of the twist throttle handle, new pegs, neck bearings and I wanna ditch the 72th #41 chain sprocket and run a #35 on a 60-66th rear. Can...
I used the search feature and could not narrow the issue down, my cable comes through front to rear and I believe it probably should load and pull from the rear of the jackshaft plate. I had no indication by how it came given it was in a box of parts. Logic tells me it's grabbing at the cinch...
Been meaning to ask this for a while.

I've been getting an old bike together. I got a new carb, plug on it. The motor will start up and idle fine. But does not produce any power. It won't even spin the tire on ice. It doesn't get very high rpms and really anything...
I was going one way and a truck passed me going the other way. What caught my eye were handle bars sticking up in the air. The tail gate was down and I saw a tiller. I did a U turn in the middle of the road and the chase ensued. This driver was moving on down the road and I lost site. I caught...

Hello everyone. I have (what I believe) to be a homemade mini with a 3.5hp Subaru Robin engine on it. I've been searching the web (including this board) forever looking for information on these engines and I just can't find anything. It's a great little engine and everything, I just can't find...
I got the kids a couple of doodle bug bikes for christmas, and they are having a blast on them. The motor is way to weak to carry me (225lb) up any kind of slope. I mentioned that I would like to put one together that I could play around with the kids on. A few days later my wife shows up with...
A while back I restored my Atlas using a stockish 3.5 Tecumseh, the problem is the factory (welded) sprocket is large for the tire size and the Tec had no top end and the torque could put you on your butt if you werent very careful off the line or rolling slow.
So today I put a temp rubber...
