I recently discovered this engine in my fathers barn as we are preparing his estate. The engine was in an old wooden box wrapped in wax/grease paper. I wiped it clean and pulled the rope and had good compression. I checked the spark, put some fuel into it and it fired up! The data plate has...

Hello everyone Ive got alot of projects but what Im currently working on is an Arctic Cat Whisker I picked up in Duluth Mn. Its a nice survivor but it has low spark not even enough to get through the spark plug. Further inspection revealed a wire coming off the coil is pretty corroded. Ive...
Looking for 2 of the exhaust headers used on the saxonette hop up kit. It was also used on the Sachs 80b. The bend is a little different than the stock saxonette engine. Thanks

Can someone direct me to where I might find the throttle parts to the Bing carb for a Sachs 50? See attached diagram. Parts 30, 31, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, and 8. Thanks for any help.
50cc Saxonette motor with exhaust and shield. Has brand new bing carb. No filter housing. Also dosent have the $1000 pull start.
Has compression and spark. Sounded like it wanted to kick off of starter fluid. Might just need carb adjustments. Pipe has so surface rust spots. Little ones. Will...
Mufflers for 1970-1972 Arctic Cat Minibikes with Saxonette engines. 20" to wide joint, 1-1/8" small end, 2-1/2" large end, 1-3/4" long small end.
Place the T-handle in the pocket behind the light.
Cheap workaround for starting a Sachs Saxonette engine without a recoil. Not the safest way to ride. Wear shoes! Not the most dust and dirt resistant for the flywheel and points, but it is what it is. It works.
Fold the cord over itself 2-3 times and tie the bundle around the bar.

Pull straight up. Be prepared to let go if by rare chance the end of the rope sticks in the flywheel. Never happened to me but it might.
