tricks?

This is the last washer to complete a rebuild of a 1972 Rupp Roadster 2. The washer sits between the bearing and and the front fork. It's a very tight fit and I wanted to know if there is an easy way to get this washer in place without really forcing it. Unless there's a trick or an easier...

I have a thunder kart 2 seater with suspension. Everytime i take it for a ride it kills my lower back. I thought of running a larger tire. Anyone running a suspension seat?

I just bought a grayhound 6.5 clone, the reg clone and what not. I know 2 majors are air intake and a new muffler. Anything else cheep ( besides removing the gov) I can do to get a little more out of this? I'm looking at less then 50 bucks. Thanks.
