Found this listed on Facebook of all things! I couldn't hardly believe it. Looks to be all original, not in the best shape but for the money it was a steal! Engine has good compression and shouldn't take much to get running.

Hi, i have a sachs 80b motor, i have been told i cant run lites from it because it has no charging system.?? however it does have a hot wire from the motor.( its a heavy yellow wire) i tested it and it show at least 14v and does lite the head lite very well. any thought on this ? will i burn...

does any one know what the correct gas ratio is for the 80b engine? for a speedway widow maker. i have heard 16:1, and 32:1, i saw on a widow maker gas tank (caution 16:1 mix ratio) seems kinda rich.

Are black widows the only typos that came with 28 spoke rims. Any other stand alone info would help. As far as what makes them different from the other 12" wheel rupps.

I picked up this Black Widow today. I'm sure it was restored but I really like it. Thought I would share some pictures.

Late entry for my 71' Rupp Black Widow. Lots of parts to find and Refurbish. But it is a matching Nos. bike with the 201 Seat ID tag and original sales receipt so it deserves being done right. Not sure if I'll make the deadline. Giod luck Everyone!
