2 stroke old school mini bikes?

Any of you folks have experience with 2 strokes? Specifically the Tecumseh 2 strokers.. looking into an HKS850. Mounting it on a lowered cat 250.. any experience on mounts? I'd like to see some other projects if any were ever attempted. Thanks all!

I put a little snowblower Tecumseh on a Fox. If I remember correctly it was a 2 cycle, 3HP Tecumseh HSK600. Its fun but not real fast with a 210 lb rider. The Tecumseh shaft was 5/8 and I made up a metal motor mount for it so I would not have to cut up the engine plate on the Fox. Your HKS850 would have much more power vs. what I used.

This is a Tecumseh Power Products Super 58 that I mounted into a sensation mini. I cut 3" out of the height of the frame for looks. Not much torque for launch, but the sound and smell well makes up for it.
