#41/40 1 inch clutch that mounts inward?

I need a clutch for a 1 inch crank size engine. I cant fit a torque converter on so I just need a standard clutch. I can find a ton of clutches that would be perfect but they only mount with the sprocket facing out. Anyone know where to find one that mounts in? Thanks

it shouldn't matter which way the clutch is facing with a centrifugal one. i may be wrong though.

If your engine shaft is long enough so you can lock down the set screw, it should work fine.

Looking closer, I don't see a set screw on the "back" side of that clutch. That would be a problem. If I see one like you need I'll let you know.

there's no reason to use a set screw if you have a threaded shaft. just use the key to keep the clutch from spinning and a bolt/washer in the shaft to hold it on.

That clutch doesn't let the shaft on the engine go all the way through the clutch. You need a Noram clutch,they are reverseable and have a 1" hole all the way through.

comet has them but around 100.00 for the in board clutch.
