69 Rupp Roadster. Restore or keep original?

#21
I have a similar restore or keep as is dilemma. I have a 75 Rupp Roadster2. Only I'm not looking to keep it. I bought it to sell and make money. It has the original engine that runs well and has working lights.
It needs very little.
I don't want to hi-jack this thread any more than I have so I'll start my own thread with a similar title.
Thanks

I don't see anything wrong with a re-spray of the engine shroud and a touch-up of the bare areas on the frame. "Originality" diminishes when some aspect of the assembled collection of parts is lost, finishes included.

When you "touch things up" you mess with the originality. Now it's not original nor restored. Unrestored originals have so much character and interest than restored.
