greetings..new member but 6 months lurker. love the site and the camaraderie.
I'm looking for info on how to paint this external tank. want to go gloss or flat black. any tips on the prep and paint. tried to post pics of tank but not sure if it posted.

I can’t tell you what to do but I can tell you make sure the surface is clean, lightly sand, clean prep and spray

Ps make sure to use gas rated paint and to let it fully dry, seems to be the mistake I make most. :)

Welcome. This is a great site.

I recommend that you avoid using a flat finish. It will show little marks, oily fingerprints, etc., and can begin to look shabby very quickly. A better choice, I think, is matte/semi-gloss.
