This afternoon I was reading about different side by sides. I have never been an artic cat fan. But read about the artic cat prowler.

Artic cat prowler mini bike to side by side. Coincidence?

Registered trade mark? It's not unusual for a company to recycle a product name.

Not a coincidence, Arctic Cat has been around since 1960 and made the minibikes and snowmobiles then eventually came to make a host of off road products. Likely owned by a conglomerate now but was started by Edgar Hetteen in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

Arctic cat had a prowler snowmobile as well.
Thats pretty cool.

I wonder how many people realize the minibike origin of the prowler name?

I know lots of brands recycle names, but usually its a name with significance. Challenger, Charger, ect. Not a minibike from the 60s that many people never problem even knew existed
