great video i almost had a super bronc at mid ohio vintage motorcycle days, but was a hour to late. some other guy bought it for 100 dollars. I offererd him 300 for it but he woldnt sell it. How does the bike run with that carb set up? Is it pretty smooth?

Thanks! Yes the carb was the best improvment on the bike, and to be honest it is one of the best running carbed engines I have ever seen! I havent rode the bike in a month or so but I went out last weekend and turned the gas valve on and flipped the choke and the first pull it started.. it fast idles untill you drop the choke off after a short 1-2 min warm up and off I went. I did have to rejet the main up a few sizes to increase the top end  Keep looking smallbikes88 and you'll find one :scooter:

Very nice job on the resto & mod. Love that car and billet rod. Where did you get the dust boots for the front forks?

Don't want to jump into your guys convo, but he got them from Ron at power tec, I got a pair about four years ago from the same guy, they are perfect, but..
I needed three more pairs this year, and Ron did not have any in and could not get any more in because of a temporary shut down of the supplier.
I have not talked to Ron in at least a few months, so maybe he has them in by now, so I would give him a try first
Replacement parts by Power Tec of Southwest Michigan - Your Parts Specialist for Haulers, Clutches, Axle, Brakes, Cables and much more - Benton Harbor, MI 49022
Really nice guy, very knowledgeable, try him first, if he has them they will work better than what I am about to tell you
ok, if he does not have them in, Honda 50 or 70 boots will work also. I ordered 3 pair and put them on a VT-7, VT-10, and custom VT-9
Here is a pic of the boots on my VT-10

They are not a perfect fit, but will hose clamps they work. Good Luck:scooter:

Any idea how to contact the guy abut the dust boots. Phone number or e-mail? btw... what is the approximate cost of the boots?

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread.
