Found out about 2 months ago that I have got to have a knee replacement. I knew this was comming for about 10 years. I am 55 and have been developing a bucket list of a few things I want to do. One being jumping out of a perfectly good plane. The doc said if I had the need to do this I had to do it before I have the hardware installed. I am going to Tampa on Saturday to mark this off my list. Any body out there jumped before?

Told the project manager not to worry. If something happened look at all the mini bikes she would have to herself. She wasn't too excited.

friends from work go sky diving all the time. Not me......when I'm in a plane, I wear my seat belt.......not jump out:laugh::laugh: Not that the seat belt would do anything if you crashed:doah::doah::laugh: They all say its really fun. Have a great time:thumbsup:

For a long time, I said that before I die, I want to Sky Dive, Bunjy Jump, and ride a bull. After 2 back surgeries, I don't think that any of that will happen. Good luck, and have fun.

I got my bucket list going and crossed a few things off already. One being a biplane ride. Boy, those things feel like they defy gravity. For the first few minutes I thought it was going to fall out of the sky. Every little breeze made it feel like we moved over 20 feet.

Sky diving is also on my list, but I am at the weight limit for tandem diving. And that's one thing I don't want to be at the limit.

Are you going to Zephyrhills to jump?

Did my jump and all I can say is wow. It was a blast. The freefall was intense. My project manager wanted a video which was nice to have. The only thing is that you concentrate on the camera so much you do not take in the free fall like you might want too. She took the plane ride up with me which she said was wild going back to the airport. Would I do it again, oh hell yea. There is a 18000' jump next to the Kennedy Space Center that I would like to do but it all depends on my damn knee. On my next trip to visit my kids in San Francisco I might have to check out the hang gliding. I think I might be in a mid life crises.

The trueth is you figuere you have time for a a lot of things.

The fact is you don't...

You life is your bucket list, and you better make sure you fill it every chance you get.

I realize that now, a bit too late.

Amen NOS. I am 55 with joint issues. I feel like I almost let it get the best of me. I am trying to do some things I always wanted to do. Just wish I would of tried skydiving about 30 years ago.
