Any knowledge about LIL Indian split frame bikes

I recently bought this bike and have mounted a Toro snow blower engine .It is a 5 hp electric start Tecumseh. The 3.5HP self destructed , but I may rebuild it. The bike as is way too fast for me.
Is there any way to identify the year produced or any other info. I put a couple photo's in the LIL Indian gallery , but am new here and couldn't figure out how to post them.Any help would be appreciated.

1993 or newer , I think the best way to date the bike is to find the engine date code.

Getting the numbers off of the original engine will give you the year. My 2 bikes are a 1999 and a 2000.

I can't tell you what year....but heres one of your pics.

My motor has a late 97 build date, so I would guess the bike was sold new in 1998.
