Is an h50 OHV? I thought it was a flathead, sorry my bad. I don't know a ton about the Tec motors.

I thought H50 = flathead and HS50 was OHV. If I'm wrong, then I'm glad because I have been looking for one of these for a while.

Edit: will I need to buy bearings for this rod, or not?

This rod will not work for the hs50 or 5.5 ohv Tecumseh. It is for a h50 flat head motor sport engine. It is Tecumsehs answer to Briggs raptor engine. More or less.

HS50 is still a flathead engine. The OHV engines were slanted and only made more recently. Not sure of the model name of those

Ah OK thanks a lot did not know they made flathead motor sport only OHV motor sport. Thanks like I said I don't know a lot about the Tec motors.
Are H50 motor sport engines around/available? Sounds like they might perform pretty well.
