Brand Spankin New clone is hard to start.

did anyone "adjust" your honda replacement carb before it went on? or did you pull it out of the box and bolt it on yourself? do you still use the fuel tank that bolts on top of the motor?

B&S Motor hard starting

I have same issue i Have a newer B&S that doesn't have points and condenser I have to full choke it and open throttle all the way to get to start once its warm start first pull! The carb came off a older B&S that has points but its a great carb all linkage is good so i know that's not the issue! any advice be helpful first B&S motor ive had without points and condenser!

Oldschool thanks for advice but i really don know what screw is what.I know where the idle screw is but not really sure about the other!!!!! Can you help please?????????? A picture of the ones I need to tinker with!

I replaced the clone carb with a brand new gen honda carb,and still same ole problem!!!!!!!!!!!!:hammer: If i start it sitting in the seat and floor it,its awesome.When i let off it dies!!!!

Did anyone read what I said about using an idle air screw from Hyundai portable generator or an earlier carb?
