briggs bearing sidecover info

I am building a mini engine out of a funpower cool bore bushing engine. I have a small bearing sidecover but I am not sure it will work with the bushing crank that is 1 inch diameter where the bearing would go. Is the small bearing sidecover only used with the smaller journal PTO crank? Or is there a bearing that fits the small bearing sidecover and fits the bushing crank. Also is getting a seal a problem or do I just look for a large bearing sidecover.

the small bearing cover will not fit....You will either have to change cranks or covers..

or machine the pto side of the crank smaller.

Thanks I will look for a large bearing sidecover, meanwhile I can use bushing sidecover.
