looking for ID on a 4HP briggs model 100232 type 0201-02 code 74051307 the engine is on a generator. want to know what kind of shaft it has.

Displacement: 10 cubic inch
Basic Design Series: 0
Crankshaft Orientation:Horizontal Shaft
PTO Bearing, Reduction Gear, Auxiliary Drive, Lubrication: Ball Bearing Flange Mouting Splash Lube
Type of Starter: Rewind Starter

The type number identifies the engine mechanical parts, color of paint, decals, governed speed and Original Equipment Manufacturer.

But what output shaft is on it? a generator is mounted on it . dont want to un bolt everything just to view this.

well best be its a 3/4 inch shaft unless it dosent have a key way and goes it a cone shape thes its a tapper an has to but miled down in order to be used by the way u prety much have no choice but to tear all tha crap off to look

Well all i can tell you since its on a generator its proly got a taperd carnk but since its so old it might just have a keyd one either way you guna have to take generator off to look
