briggs intek 190 in doodlebug? need help

hows you guys doing,

i have a mini bike with a intek 190 6hp briggs that I am going to throw on my new doodlebug, can i mount it on the existing frame plate- or is not strong enough

and can some one tell me were i can get better brakes for the doodle at

I have had my 6.5 mounted directly onto the frame plate for over a year now with no problems. Just make sure to use a large backer plate. I ended up using 2 large pieces of steel channel.

Most people just use disc brakes off mountain bikes, and if your doing it it's probably worth the time to put one on the front also.
