Briggs valve guides

#3
Get some good ones from a good kart racing shop. Get them properly installed and honed to match your valves. Stock Briggs guides are pretty loose in a new engine and get real loose quickly.

Thanks Tim. The kart shops around here (at least the ones that I know of) have abandoned the flathead and do OHV, shifter, and Yamaha engines. After shifting my search online to karts I found EZ-Bore Motorsports that have good valve guides. Good price on them also. I can install and size them.

Ebay has tons of them. I think its #63709......the factory guides work fine. if there is concern of them being too loose use a .2485" or .248" reamer instead of the factory supplied finish reamer. I can put them in, a few other guys on here can too.
